CSFD/EDN/DNI/IFAP Working Group, 2009. Desertification and land degradation trend indicators. Leaflet drafted by Amsallem I. & Bied-Charreton M., July2009.
This leaflet summarizes the main results of a study undertaken by the committee and its partners (European DesertNet and International Federation of Agricultural Producers) that aims at defining a minimum set of desertification and land degradation trend indicators. This on-going work will led to several CSFD publications in 2009 and 2010.

Cornet Antoine, 2002. Desertification and its relationship to the environment and development: a problem that affects us all. In: Ministère des Affaires étrangères/adpf, Johannesburg. World Summit on Sustainable Development. 2002. What is at stake? The contribution of scientists to the debate: 91-125..

CSFD et al., 2008. Integrating the combat against desertification and land degradation into negotiations on climate change: a winning strategy. 3 pp.
This document explains in big lines the existing links between desertification and climatic change. It shows that in fact the fight is the same. This document has been written with the aim of convincing the decision-makers involved in the Climate Convention of the interest of the subject. This « non paper » was also diffused to European colleagues working on the desertification and the climate (experts, Brussels).

Requier-Desjardins Mélanie and Bied-Charreton Marc, 2006. Investing in recovery of arid land. Rome 4-5 December 2006. Working paper. 53 pp.

This document has been used as an introduction to the International workshop on inaction costs and investment opportunities in arid, semi-arid and sub-humid dry zones, held in Rome (4 and 5 December 2006). This meeting gathered about 80 peoples from the North and the South, development agencies, ministries, NGOs and professional bodies as well as scientists.
